Conditions decide the day

Waterfalls are a changing outdoor environment. Wet rock, steep ground and river conditions deserve attention. Follow your guide’s instructions and official weather warnings. A previous visit or a photograph is not evidence that a section is suitable now.

Technical canyoning needs a competent operator and appropriate equipment. This guide does not provide independent descent instructions, jump locations or a navigation track.

Prepare honestly

Describe your experience, swimming ability and limitations accurately before choosing a trip. Ask what support is available and what happens if a participant cannot complete a section. Keep the operator’s contact and leave your outing details with someone at your accommodation.

Before setting off, know the group’s plan for communication and assistance. If conditions change, accept a revised route or a cancellation rather than treating the original itinerary as a target that must be completed.

Leave a light footprint

Take every piece of rubbish out, including food packaging. Avoid leaving soap or toiletries in natural water. Keep to the route your guide chooses, respect property and access instructions, and leave plants and wildlife undisturbed.

Make photographs from a stable position without obstructing the group or approaching an edge for a better angle. The best souvenir is a day you enjoyed without leaving a trace.

Sources inform the guide. Operator details describe that operator’s itinerary, not every visit.
